Rain! Again! We've certainly had a damp start to 2010, and that has meant that my creativity has had to jump to a higher level. So, this week we've all been at something new. The girls enjoyed some time to make bead necklaces. The rainbow of bead colors had them fixated for quite a while. Nothing like pretty beads to distract little "princesses". Even Elly put her motor skills to work.
I went to work on a sewing project that has been on the back burner for some time. Each of my girls is getting a "Sunday bag." I found a simple pattern online, tweeked and embellished it some, and made two bags (so far) for them to carry their notebooks and crayons and Bibles in to church. One more to make tonight (don't want anyone to be left out)! What fun! Love those rainy days!
