The weather has warmed up and we are enjoying the space of our new home. The girls love digging and helping me with some landscaping projects. Our garden is growing nicely, with sweet peas, romaine lettuce, green beans, and parsley already growing. Soon tomatoes and bell peppers will go in the ground. We have zucchini and yellow squash in, but no sign of them poking out yet.

With the onset of spring, I have discovered that all my girls have grown like weeds (cute weeds), and have managed to outgrow their sandals and tennis shoes (with the exception of Elly). So shoe shopping is on my agenda, as well as for clothes for Anna. She has grown quite tall and my selection of hand-me-downs has come to an end.
We are wrapping up our winter school calendar. The girls have nearly memorized all of Psalm 139. Next week we add verses 23 and 24. Anna has finished her first chapter book, Stuart Little, and is starting to read and abridged version of Heidi. Rachel is about 1/3 of the way through her reading book and is catching on fairly quickly.
Matthew has been super busy with work. It doesn't slow down for him. Many things are happening in his office and it's looking like he may be adding to what he already does. Please pray for this. We miss him dearly when the days get long. Pray for me to have stamina (which seems to grow thinner and thinner as the baby gets closer and the girls become more "hands on".
We send our love to you all and, hopefully, I'll be more diligent to keep you all updated.
Happy Spring!!!
