It was a fun week. I enjoyed having some company during the day, especially the adult conversational kind. We had our arms twisted by Troy, David, Daniel, and Allison to play Risk, which we did three nights in a row, staying up past midnight or later. I guess it was fair, since Matthew put the guys to work prepping an area for a concrete slab. They certainly earned their room and board.
If that wasn't enough, they held a "mini" concert off our back porch the Thursday before they left. Some of our neighbors and church friends came over, and Mike's played for 2-1/2 hours! David even had blisters on his hands!

We enjoyed having a toddling boy around the house. He helped us to get acclamated to boy antics. In this picture he was practicing getting himself dressed. Elly was slow to warm up to him, but after a while she didn't seem to mind.
