looking in on the house

Since our last update, much has been done on the house! Most of the windows are in and the roof is being prepared to take shingles. Soon the raftertails and roof trim will be painted. There have been a few "issues" arise with some of the framing, but nothing unmanageable. I guess it would be abnormal if no problems came up.
We journeyed to Elberton, Georgia not long ago to look at granite (for the kitchen countertops). It was a fun trip and truly amazing to see God's handiwork in the colors and form of the different slabs we saw. I'm excited to see how the granite we chose looks in the kitchen!
