The painting on the exterior is nearly done, and it looks almost ready for us to move in!Anna and Rachel are sitting on the steps. Painting for the interior will likely start next week, and painting the porches and rails will be soon as well.
Anna is trying out the upstairs closet.
The beams are now wrapped in fir to match the front door. You can also see the treads for the stairs in place. The sanding of the hard wood floors will be taking place before long.
We like the zoo, especially the mini elephants, which are surprisingly tame and let little children sit on their backs. Anna, Rachel, Elly and Daddy went to the zoo without Mommy this time; we dropped her off at the Columbia, SC airport to send her to Iowa for a few days.
Elly is as cute as ever. She is eating a lot and growing more every day.
